Your Legal Rights
Nothing in this Policy affects your statutory consumer rights. Goods supplied to UK consumers must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. If goods are faulty, damaged, unsafe, misdescribed or do not meet legal standards, customers may be entitled to a refund, repair, replacement or price reduction depending on the circumstances.
Cancelling Online Orders
For many online purchases, UK consumers have the right to cancel within 14 days after receiving the goods, without giving a reason. After notifying cancellation, customers normally have a further 14 days to return the goods.
Customers should notify us or the vendor clearly by email or through the marketplace support process at support@afrimarkethub.com.
Items That May Not Be Eligible for Change-of-Mind Returns
Some items may only be returnable if they are faulty or not as described. Examples may include:
- Personalised or custom-made items.
- Perishable goods such as fresh food, flowers or chilled products.
- Sealed goods that are unsuitable for return for health or hygiene reasons once unsealed.
- Newspapers or magazines.
- Unsealed audio, video or software products.
- Digital content supplied after the customer has agreed to immediate access where cancellation rights are lawfully lost.
Return Condition and Costs
Returned goods should be sent back in a reasonable condition, with packaging and accessories where possible. Customers may handle goods as they would in a shop to inspect them. Refunds may be reduced where goods have been used, damaged or handled more than necessary.
Return costs may be the customer's responsibility where legally permitted and where this was made clear before purchase. Vendors remain responsible for return costs where required by law, including where goods are faulty or misdescribed.
Refund Timing and Method
Where a refund is due, it will usually be made to the original payment method. Refunds for valid cancellations should normally be processed within 14 days after the returned goods are received back or after evidence of return is provided, where applicable.
Standard delivery costs may be refunded where required by law, but additional premium delivery charges may not be refundable beyond the standard delivery amount.
How to Start a Return or Complaint
To start a return, refund request or cancellation, contact support@afrimarkethub.com with your order number, product details, reason for the request and any supporting evidence such as photographs.
We may ask the vendor to review and respond. Customers should not return goods until return instructions have been provided.
